Straight answers
Do I need a main system first? Yes. A Satellite works alongside an active Digital Twin Pro system or Private Node plan. It extends your assistant; it does not replace it.
Where does the thinking happen? A Satellite extends your assistant's presence; the heavier thinking happens on your main system or, when you choose, outside models — always on your say-so.
What about privacy? The same rules as the box at home: local by default, nothing collected, you hold the valve.
