Is it hard to set up?
No. Plug in power and internet, scan the card with your phone, say hello. Real people walk you through it by phone if you’d like.
Do I need to know anything about AI?
No. If you can send a text, you can use your assistant. You talk. It handles the rest.
Is it listening to my family?
It only hears you when you talk to it — and what you say stays on your appliance unless you send it out. A Managed system reports only its own device health over the managed channel — never your conversations or files.
What does it cost after I buy it?
The box is yours — one price for whichever system you choose. Your first three months of Managed Private AI are included; after that it's a small monthly plan that keeps your assistant current, watched-over, and gaining new supported capabilities over time.
Will it be out of date in a year?
Not if it's managed. Managed Private AI brings your box validated model and software updates as available, and new supported capabilities as they are released — supported software and models stay current for the life of the hardware — and like any computer, some future capabilities may eventually ask for newer hardware; we will say so plainly.
Why not just use one of the AI apps?
Apps are something you visit, and your questions live on someone else’s computers. It lives with you, knows your life, and keeps it home. And when the big services are useful, your assistant can bring them in — on your say-so.
