An honest comparison

Digital Twin Pro, or ClawBox?

They are the best-known private AI box on the market and they are good at what they do. They are also built for a different person than we are. This page is here to tell you which of those people you are, as quickly as possible, and to send you to them without a fuss if the answer is them.

Everything attributed to ClawBox below is quoted from their own homepage as published on 10 September 2026. Prices are theirs as listed, in euros.

The short answer.

Buy theirs if

You enjoy this. You want to run the thing yourself, pick your own models, wire it into your own tools, and you would find a weekend of setting it up satisfying rather than infuriating. You want the lowest possible price for capable hardware, and you are happy to be your own support desk. Their community is real and their documentation is good. Go and buy one — we mean that.

Buy ours if

You want the result and none of the work. You have never installed anything in your life and do not intend to start. Your household’s records are sensitive enough that “set it up correctly” is not a risk you want to be personally holding. You would rather write one letter, have a machine arrive already knowing your family, and never think about it again.

The differences that actually matter.

Not a specification fight. Both machines are fast enough that you will never think about it, and both keep your data on hardware rather than in someone’s cloud. These are the differences you would notice in the first month.

  ClawBox Digital Twin Pro
Who sets it up You do. Their words: “plug-and-play”, and setup “within 5 minutes” via a wizard. We do, before it ships. It arrives configured, named, and already loaded with the history you sent us. Your own setup time is none.
Your history Not part of the offer. You connect what you want connected. Loaded by hand before delivery — letters, records, photographs, the things that make it yours rather than generic.
Who fixes it Support is listed as “real humans, videos, community”, with a 30-day money-back guarantee. We do. If it breaks we fix or replace it — our job, not yours, for as long as you are a member.
What you own at the end The hardware, from day one, for €579 — with optional software plans at €9 or €49 a month. Stay a year and the machine — and everything it has learned — is yours to keep. It keeps working after that, without us.
How privacy is argued “We don’t log your data — verify the code.” A promise you are invited to audit. Under your own roof it physically cannot leave the house. Written scopes, written deletion confirmations, and no code for you to read.
Where it can live On hardware you buy. Three models, from an entry box to a workstation at €6,100. In your house, or as one machine that is yours alone in a locked cabinet — the same price either way, and the assistant moves between them without forgetting anything.
What the page asks of you Docker, Telegram and WhatsApp setup guides, per-device tokens, model choices, a leaderboard. Nothing. There is no dashboard you must learn and no decision you must research. You ask it for things in your own words.
How it is sold Order now. A launch price of €579 against €749, “only until” a stated date. Sixteen numbered memberships, by written application. No countdown, no discount, and no sale — ever.
Price €579 one-time for the entry box, €6,100 for the workstation, plus optional monthly plans. $8,995 for the founding year, everything included, ending in ownership. It begins with a $1,950 Archive Assessment, credited in full. Fixed until September 2027.

We are roughly fifteen times their entry price and we are not going to pretend otherwise. What the difference buys is every job in the middle column happening without you: the setting up, the loading, the updating, the backing up, the fixing, and the worrying.

In fairness to them

What they do better than we do.

  • Price. Nothing we offer competes with €579, and nothing we plan to offer will.
  • Speed to a decision. You can own one this week. Ours involves a letter and a review, on purpose, and that is slower.
  • Choice. They let you pick between two agents and several model providers. We choose for you, because choosing is the work we are removing.
  • Community. A real forum full of people solving each other’s problems. We have no equivalent and will not pretend to.
  • Reviews. They have years of public, named customer reviews. We have sixteen memberships and no history yet, and you should weigh that.

If any of those five things is the one that matters most to you, buy theirs. You will be happier, and we would rather tell you now.

Still here?

Then you are probably our reader: you want the outcome, in your own house, without becoming the person who maintains it.

If we cannot serve you exceptionally, we will say so in writing before you commit to a year — and we decline commissions we cannot do well.
