But the stack includes no loading of your history, no care, and no memory that is truly yours: five years in, you have paid for tools you will never own, holding records that sit in general pools under other people’s terms. Five years into the service, each year after the first has been $5,995 for the service running; your assistant answers from five years of your own records — with citations — and everything it knows about you sits in your own encrypted space, never pooled with anyone else’s.

And only one of these paths has an ending you would recognise as an ending: a letter confirming that everything about you has been deleted.
Why does almost every AI tool charge monthly, forever?
Because it is priced as a seat: every question you ask costs the company something, so the bill arrives again each month — and it has no finish line. Stop paying and everything disappears: the history, the routines, the answers. You were never buying anything; you were renting a seat. Ours runs on cloud computers too — our own boundary, watched end to end — so the difference is not the location; it is the shape of the deal. One bill a year, no meter, no charge for using it more, and nothing renews unless you use the written link we send thirty days before the anniversary.

What is included that a subscription never gives you?
Your archive prepared and loaded by hand, under a written scope, so your assistant starts out knowing your files instead of starting blank. An assistant built on it, named and working in days — nothing to build or ship — and you can change the name. Your connections set up for you. The strongest commercial models, part of the service — chosen by us for each kind of work, billed inside the fee, no meter, no extra bill. And full care: updates handled by us, backups running continuously and encrypted, restoring them our job. If the service breaks, we fix it; if we cannot, the remainder of the paid year is returned. There is no start fee; the year is the whole bill.
What happens after a year?
Nothing renews unless you use the written link. Thirty days before each anniversary we write with the figure — $5,995 — and the direct link; nothing renews without it. Stop in writing at any time, effective at the end of the paid year. You can ask for a complete copy of your material at any time and receive it, and when the service ends, your space and everything in it is deleted, confirmed to you in writing. A subscription stack has no such letter.
Do I give anything up next to the big AI apps?
No — this is the part that changed the arithmetic. The strongest commercial models are part of the service: chosen by us for each kind of work, billed inside the fee. Your assistant reaches them through Amazon Bedrock, inside the same cloud boundary as everything else, over private networking rather than the public internet. There is no meter, no per-word charge, and no bill at the end of a heavy month.
