How it begins

It begins the same way for everyone: you order, we read it and write back, our letter confirms the year, and it arrives. This page is the whole process, in plain words.

The first year costs more because it contains the Jetson Orin placed and configured, your archive loaded and the first training run; every year after is the service running.

1. You order the first year

On its own page: choose where it lives — a shelf in your building, or our locked cabinet — and order, paying at checkout. In the cart, tell us who is in the household, what you would like handled, and what must never leave the building. Nothing to install and nothing to learn. If you like, add the Archive Assessment before it, $1,950 — a written scope of your material and a working demonstration built on a sample of it, delivered work you keep, credited in full by the one-use link in the letter that delivers it.

2. We read it, and write back within days

One of two letters. A decline, with every dollar returned, if we cannot serve you well. Or our confirmation, which sets down the year, where it will live, the anniversary date and the renewal figure. Until that confirmation you may withdraw in writing and we return every dollar; from it the year is final, because from that day a machine is being configured and loaded for you alone, and there is nothing generic to lend out. The date is not final: if the date it names will not do, say so by return and we find one that does.

3. The scope, the loading, the first training run

You receive the written scope of your material: what can be trained on, what cannot, and what your assistant will be able to do with it. We load your archive to that scope, by hand, and run the first training. Trained on your material, for you — never pooled, never shared, never used to improve anyone else's model. Our working copies are erased afterwards, confirmed to you in writing.

4. It arrives, on the date in the letter

Configured, named — you can change the name — and loaded. Put it on a shelf and give it the power cable, then ask it for something. In our cabinet, it is simply on. If it arrives damaged or fails on first setup, tell us within 72 hours of delivery and we replace it free, shipping both ways.

Where it lives

In your building, it works with the internet unplugged, and nothing leaves unless you allow it. In our locked cabinet, it starts sooner and your questions travel to it over the internet. The same price at either address, and the machine stays ours at both. You choose at checkout and can change your mind in writing until our letter confirms the year.

Every year after

Your year runs from the day it arrives — the date in our letter — and that day is the anniversary. Buying the first year is the sign-up; there is no second form. Thirty days before each anniversary we write with the figure — $4,995 — and the direct link to renew. Nothing renews unless you use that link. You may stop in writing at any time, effective at the end of the paid year; a year already begun is final. If the anniversary passes without the link, the year ends there: we write once more, then collect the machine, or wipe the one in our cabinet, and delete the trained model — both confirmed to you in writing. Nothing becomes yours alone and nothing is copied out or handed over: the model serves you alone while the service runs.

Before you order

Can I change my mind about the Assessment?

Not once we begin — it is delivered work, and you keep the written scope and the demonstration whether or not you go further. The one case where the fee comes back is if we decline the commission, which we do rather than take work we cannot do well.

Can I change my mind about the first year?

Until our letter confirms it, yes: withdraw in writing and we return every dollar, and if we cannot serve you well we decline and return it. From the letter the year is final, and we would rather tell you that here than at the end.

When does it arrive?

On the date in the letter. Every machine is loaded for one household or one practice, so we give you the honest date in writing rather than a number on a page.

What if I am not sure it fits?

Write to us first. We answer in writing within one business day, and if it is not right for you we say so before our letter confirms a year.

Several homes, several offices, or staff across sites?

By conversation, scoped in writing. One home under one roof, or one practice in one office, is the first year — however many of you there are. Not sure which you are? Order the first year; if it needs more, our letter says so before anything is final. Write to us and tell us about the people, the places and what the assistant would carry.
